A Challenge has been issued! I have been issued a challenge by a mentor. While the details of the challenge cannot be shared,
I can say that it will not be easy but will be well worth the reward as Tankkeeper will always be free and the features will continue to grow and improve.
For those of you who are new, TankKeeper is an Online Aquarium Maintenance Tracking System. It allows you to record information about your aquarium
including how much money you are spending or making, when you did your water changes or other maintenance tasks, let's you store photos of your aquariums, etc. The
original system was designed to allow my aquarium maintenance technicians to keep data on all the aquariums we maintain. This way I could oversee the work being done
and make sure that all our customers aquariums remained healthy. Today it is being used for the same purpose, but is also being used by a number of customers who are
now part of the beta.
In the works: are a number of enhancements including a site for you to "Show Off" your aquariums to friends, reviews on
aquarium equipments including heaters, filters, chillers, pumps and more. We will also be adding a forum, and will be adding many new features to our "Library". Many of the
new features coming out are due to feedback from our existing members, so we do take feedback seriously.
